Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened

  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar

  • 3/4 cup brown sugar

  • 2 large eggs

  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  • In a bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt.

  • In another bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy.

  • Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla.

  • Gradually mix in the dry ingredients.

  • Stir in chocolate chips.

  • Scoop tablespoon-sized dough balls onto a baking sheet.

  • Bake for 9–11 minutes until golden brown around the edges.

  • Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
